Hi! My name is Peggy Flynn Farwig.  I was raised in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Cincinnati to attend the College of Mount St. Joseph.  I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997.  After graduation, I worked in critical care at Good Samaritan Hospital.  Most recently, I was a researcher for clinical trials.

In 2005, I married my husband, Jim, and we got right to work starting a family.  I always knew I wanted an unmedicated birth.  Jim and I prepared by taking classes in the Bradley Method of childbirth.  We welcomed our first daughter in September 2006.  Nineteen months later, in April 2008, our second beautiful girl was born.  In March 2010, our trio of girls was complete when we welcomed our third daughter.  Having three natural births in a four year span, each with Doula support, awakened me to my calling.  While I enjoy my job as homemaker and mom, my passion is to educate women about childbirth and support them as they bring new life into the world.

I completed Doula training with toLabor in June 2011.  I am currently accepting clients as I work toward certification.  I welcome the opportunity to speak with you about how my support can help you achieve the birth you desire.
